Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi have been recognized and received numerous awards and accolades in recognition of her work . In 1993, she was appointed as Honorary Member of the Presidium of Petrovskaya academy of Art and Science. In the history of the Academy, only twelve people have been granted this honor, Einstein being one of them. She was given a Proclamation by the US Congress in 1997 which was submitted to the Congressional Records. Shri Mataji was declared "Personality of the Year" in 1986 by the Italian Government
